When Men Become Finally Free By Colin Ryan

When Men Become Finally Free

A Poem By Colin Ryan

Narrated by Des Brittian

There comes a times in the lives of men
When the ruthless and the criminally insane
Who rule the masses for their own gain
Make the fatal mistake of enjoying too much
Their psychopathic entertainment
They lose control in their lust for blood
And take too far their need to tread men down
By destroying any sense of a secure life
And taking away each and every freedom
Stealing the last piece of wealth they possess
So they cannot even care for their own
Stifling their voice with laws and corruption
Beating them down with rule by force
Where no justice exists for those being played
And there is no direction left for men to turn
When this insane game is taken this far
Comes the time when men have nothing left to lose
This is the time when the minds of men are freed
It is a time when man loses his fear of death
This is the time when a man becomes invincible
He becomes free to do whatever he must do
Without fear for his life or for his future
He will take control of the destiny of the world
Away from the bloodied hands of the soulless
Any action he takes he will take with a surety
That he must do something for he has no future
So the act he chooses will be all the greater
For when faced with oblivion and with no way out
He will take down as many of his oppressors with him
Gladly die in a selfless act to change the world’s future
This day is coming soon as it always does
The perverse minds of evil always self destruct
As their addiction to our suffering can never be sated
Exerting control for their paranoia and fear of men
For every good man will take down these brutes
Every free man will give up himself for his brothers
For a man with nothing left becomes fully empowered
And he is the most unassailable weapon against evil.

Love and Blessings,

Prayer Before Birth By Louis Macneice

Prayer Before Birth By Louis Macneice

Gad Pregnancy

I am not yet born; O hear me.
Let not the bloodsucking bat or the rat or the stoat or the
club-footed ghoul come near me.

I am not yet born, console me.
I fear that the human race may with tall walls wall me,
with strong drugs dope me, with wise lies lure me,
on black racks rack me, in blood-baths roll me.

I am not yet born; provide me
With water to dandle me, grass to grow for me, trees to talk
to me, sky to sing to me, birds and a white light
in the back of my mind to guide me.

I am not yet born; forgive me
For the sins that in me the world shall commit, my words
when they speak me, my thoughts when they think me,
my treason engendered by traitors beyond me,
my life when they murder by means of my
hands, my death when they live me.

I am not yet born; rehearse me
In the parts I must play and the cues I must take when
old men lecture me, bureaucrats hector me, mountains
frown at me, lovers laugh at me, the white
waves call me to folly and the desert calls
me to doom and the beggar refuses
my gift and my children curse me.

I am not yet born; O hear me,
Let not the man who is beast or who thinks he is God
come near me.

I am not yet born; O fill me
With strength against those who would freeze my
humanity, would dragoon me into a lethal automaton,
would make me a cog in a machine, a thing with
one face, a thing, and against all those
who would dissipate my entirety, would
blow me like thistledown hither and
thither or hither and thither
like water held in the
hands would spill me.

Let them not make me a stone and let them not spill me.
Otherwise kill me.

“You have brains in your head.
You have feet in your shoes.
You can steer yourself any direction you choose.
You’re on your own.
And you know what you know.
And YOU are the one who’ll decide where to go…”

seek no longer: creation is your only purpose (poetry)

seek no longer: creation is your only purpose (audio poetry 4:22)

By Rachel Snyder

tumblr_mqvxxa9eDM1sxqwfho1_r1_500

There comes a time when it is no longer enough
to seek out the transformative life.

There comes a time to listen deeply and to say Yes!
to the faintest inklings of your heart.

That is the time when you become a creator in your own right.
When you answer the Call without reservation
and with fulsome heart.

It may not be convenient or practical.
It may make no sense to your family or friends.
Yet if you have stepped – however hesitantly – onto the byway
of your true destiny, every door will open
and you will know that you have arrived.

Your God will greet you at the threshold.
You will embrace and be embraced.
You will feel the soft flutter of wings about your face.

It will matter not whether you know exactly what you are to do
or how you are to do it.
It will matter not whether money awaits you.
It will matter not if your cupboard is bare; your clothes threadworn;
your pockets brimming with emptiness.

You will begin anyway.

You will tremble as an utterly remarkable sense of belonging
echoes into the deepest chambers of your heart.
An unfamiliar feeling will wash over you,
and before you recognize that grace surrounds you,
you may wonder if you are dreaming.

You are not dreaming.

You will feel responsible, yet not burdened.
Wildly passionate, yet fully grounded.
Support will swoop in from every direction and you will fly
even though your feet remain firmly rooted on the Earth.

Seek no longer: creation is your only purpose.
Complete your unfinished business and prepare to begin anew.
Prepare for something far more glorious
than you have allowed yourself to imagine.
Vaster than you have allowed yourself to dream.

You are no longer dreaming.

Your time has come
and you may hesitate as fear clutches at your throat.
You will wonder if your breath has stopped completely,
as doubt and fear race helter-skelter through your body.
Try as you might, you will forget your original instructions
and the box they came in.

You may feel dazed and confused —
unsure of who you have been and who you are becoming.

You will begin anyway.

You may need to crawl until you walk, but you will begin.
As you do, you will begin to remember precisely what you forgot.
And why.

And once you begin, you will seek no more.

The Point To Life – Bill Hicks

Man’s greatest actions are performed in minor struggles. Life, misfortune, isolation, abandonment and poverty… are battlefields which have their heroes – obscure heroes who are at times greater than illustrious heroes. ~Victor Hugo~

‘IF’ By Rudyard Kipling

Poem By Rudyard Kipling
Read by Dr. Wayne W. Dyer

‘IF’

If you can keep your head when all about you
Are losing theirs and blaming it on you;
If you can trust yourself when all men doubt you,
But make allowance for their doubting too;
If you can wait and not be tired by waiting,
Or, being lied about, don’t deal in lies,
Or, being hated, don’t give way to hating,
And yet don’t look too good, nor talk too wise;

If you can dream – and not make dreams your master;
If you can think – and not make thoughts your aim;
If you can meet with triumph and disaster
And treat those two imposters just the same;
If you can bear to hear the truth you’ve spoken
Twisted by knaves to make a trap for fools,
Or watch the things you gave your life to broken,
And stoop and build ’em up with wornout tools;

If you can make one heap of all your winnings
And risk it on one turn of pitch-and-toss,
And lose, and start again at your beginnings
And never breath a word about your loss;
If you can force your heart and nerve and sinew
To serve your turn long after they are gone,
And so hold on when there is nothing in you
Except the Will which says to them: “Hold on”;

If you can talk with crowds and keep your virtue,
Or walk with kings – nor lose the common touch;
If neither foes nor loving friends can hurt you;
If all men count with you, but none too much;
If you can fill the unforgiving minute
With sixty seconds’ worth of distance run –
Yours is the Earth and everything that’s in it,
And – which is more –

you’ll be a Man my son!

A Woman’s Anthem: Still I Rise By Maya Angelou

Still I Rise
Poem By Maya Angelou

You may write me down in history
With your bitter, twisted lies,
You may trod me in the very dirt
But still, like dust, I’ll rise.

Does my sassiness upset you?
Why are you beset with gloom?
‘Cause I walk like I’ve got oil wells
Pumping in my living room.

Just like moons and like suns,
With the certainty of tides,
Just like hopes springing high,
Still I’ll rise.

Did you want to see me broken?
Bowed head and lowered eyes?
Shoulders falling down like teardrops.
Weakened by my soulful cries.

Does my haughtiness offend you?
Don’t you take it awful hard
‘Cause I laugh like I’ve got gold mines
Diggin’ in my own back yard.

You may shoot me with your words,
You may cut me with your eyes,
You may kill me with your hatefulness,
But still, like air, I’ll rise.

Does my sexiness upset you?
Does it come as a surprise
That I dance like I’ve got diamonds
At the meeting of my thighs?

Out of the huts of history’s shame
I rise

Up from a past that’s rooted in pain
I rise

I’m a black ocean, leaping and wide,
Welling and swelling I bear in the tide.
Leaving behind nights of terror and fear
I rise

Into a daybreak that’s wondrously clear
I rise

Bringing the gifts that my ancestors gave,
I am the dream and the hope of the slave.
And so… naturally,
There I go RISING

~Maya Angelou~
